The OP can afford 2 sets of Droks 1.5k armor. No big secret to farm 12k or so.

Save your money for skills.

My secret? I'm planning ahead.

Oh and for the Gold/Green thing, I see what you mean but I still like my Exuro's Will. The smiley face in the flames looks nice

As things stand right now, I've got about 30K, two Deatheater Longbows that I don't wan't and my brother has somehow managed to get himself into a debt of 107K to me, which I must say i no mean feat. I doubt he's going to pay me back by the end of the year though; he farmed for about 6 hours (it's the holidays for us ) and managed to get back 2K.

(I did have quite a bit of money before; I farmed the Mergoyles/Bog Skales outside the Gates of Kryta mission.)

My mistake... I read his other topic "How do I make money" yesterday, and then "How do I spend money, I don't need anything, so now I'm going to get 15k armor" thread today.

...I didn't know that he meant, "When I make enough money in the future THEN I will buy 15k."

Skills and sigs of capture will get quite expensive after a while, even for a Prophecies character. This is a worthy thing to spend money on.

For one thing, why do you only want 2 characters? Why don't you want to play every profession and experience all of GW?

Please for the love of god DO NOT get advice from people on this forum. The best advice given so far was check out guildwiki.

Things you need to know:
-Mini-pets are useless, and you can only have one out a time. They do absolutely nothing, don't waste your money until you're ROLLING IN IT.
-FoW armor is ugly for the most part. Yeah, I take that back: FoW armor is ugly period. If you've got a warrior, get them kurzick armor. It is by far, the best looking in the entire game. Not an opinion. A fact. Anybody who disagrees is probably.......wearing ugly armor.

If god really loves you, you would know to spread the wealth around instead of being a Scrooge.

Well, I suppose I should have more than 2 characters but I don't really see the point. I was going to make a ranger (hence the Deatheater Bows) but after the Storage Update and the fact that only now have I been exposed to the blinding truth that farming>running, the two reasons for my Slave of Fiery Doom have vanished. I'm not really into the death thing of Necromancers, I might as well use my Lady if I want to help someone as a Healing / Inspiration person, I don't like the adrenaline idea (I like having everything simple but planned, I don't like having to see if my skills are going to become availible or not and the whole thing about adrenaline looks simple but it's actually pretty complicated). As for the Ranger, I'm still pretty much against making a character that isn't going to be used for anything.

So I think I'm going to venture further into Factions with my characters, and generally help the poor.

LOL gg ^^

But I think most of us were laboring under the misapprehension this guy already has money. He doesn't. He's in his own words "planning for the future."

*****

I'm going to sound like a Republican here (which I'm not) but watch out for people finding out you're generous and taking advantage, because that only encourages them! lol

Like the person I saw in Kodash complaining how she "needs money for armor, she sold all of it to buy Vabbi* and now doesn't have anything." She gets advice, maybe some handouts from some poor naive fools, I whisper her to tell her to check out collector's armor in Cantha because I recognized her as a Canthan character.

I log into another district in Kodash later on... to see the poor beggar wearing 15k Luxon armor. Yeah, sold all your armor... lol. I called her on it and she called me a b****. lol

Anyway, watch out for these kinds of people as you make your way throwing coins out of your carriage at the peasant folk.

*Vabbi being the next most expensive armor to FoW, due to the materials needed to craft it.

gg or gdgd mean good good. and i would spend it on new armour, titles and skills and maybe if you really want to spend it up buy a minipet collection, however useless they may be. anyway in Lions Arch a couple of days ago i was advertising for the run to Sanctum Cay when i saw in the chat a beggar saying he only wanted 50k and it was a small amount of money. I gave him a PM and told him he was off his head if he thought he was going to get 50k. He called me a fat f*** and logged out. A fter i had come back from the Sanctum Cay run he was there again, spamming his begging. So i changed districts 3 times all to find people from the same guild begging for the same money. Is there some kind of lazy begger guild out there?!?! i so they give us guilswars players a bad name

Or, "good game." Meaning in this context, "well done, right on."

In PvP context, just a nice thing to say to the opposing team at the end of a match.
